I wouldn't be surprised if many truck owners hadn't even thought of this. The only reason I realized this is because I consistently get blinded by the lights from stock and bro'ed trucks alike.

I would guess the rake is far more important in this. Lifting the headlights by a few inches will only push the "kill zone" out by a few feet at most, but if the rear is droopy or there's weight in the rear, the angle change can push it out way farther.
